Vision and Quality
EGOLF members have a reputation throughout Europe for the quality of their services. As a minimum level of competence, all laboratories must have accreditation to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and, where relevant EN ISO/IEC 17020 and EN ISO/IEC 17065. There is also a series of Harmonisation Courses run by appointed course providers for the key Euroclassification fire tests. Attendance at these ensures that all members carry out the tests in a consistent manner.
EGOLF “Steps to Excellence” Quality Framework
EGOLF also has its own “Steps to Excellence” Quality Framework which all members sign up to and which is monitored on a six monthly basis to ensure compliance and give manufacturers the reassurance that EGOLF offers the highest quality service.
EGOLF Harmonization Tools
EGOLF strives to ensure that all members implement best practice and work to a level playing field across Europe. With a growing membership of more than sixty members in 30 countries, this challenge becomes ever greater. To this end, EGOLF provides the tools which allow its members to meet continuously higher demands on their quality and to promote consistently excellent performance. These tools include harmonization courses, round robins, helpdesk solutions, EGOLF Agreements (mandatory) and Recommendations.
